花非花；以花，擬天地間人事物...現居台北專職藝術創作的葉方老師，在晶華酒店《靈魂的呼吸》個展，特別創作主展牆巨幅五連屏等新作，也特地帶來能夠一窺創作經典脈絡的藝術家私人自藏。生命的容器、靈魂的鑽石、鑲著銀邊的群山、與空中盛放的牡丹花...看葉方老師作品中的經典語彙，在不同創作時期的別樣演繹。畫面中的花與物，或沈靜、或盛放，都蘊含飽滿豐盈的生命力量...葉方用柔美的筆調，譜出一曲世界萬物的韻律與靈魂的呼吸。
關於藝術家葉方 About the Artist YEH FANG
畢業於國立臺灣藝術大學美術系，曾於臺北市立美術館擔任視覺設計。1992年移居溫哥華成立〈卷云畫室〉，現居臺北，專事藝術創作。作品曾於韓國、日本、中國、美國、法國、義大利…等地展出。創作靈感來自於對生命時刻的感知；她閱讀自己、閱讀別人、閱讀自然、閱讀永恆，與藝術共舞，說盡藝術無限事。
葉方曾於台南市美術館、台北當代藝術館等美術館舉行個展。她的作品受文化部藝術銀行等多個機構典藏，亦屢獲私人藝廊、藏家青睞。曾獲美國AFA藝術聯盟美術設計獎 ，日本富山縣立美術館設計獎。
Yeh Fang graduated from the Department of Fine Arts, National Taiwan University of the Arts, and worked as a visual designer at Taipei Fine Arts Museum. In 1992, she moved to Vancouver, Canada, and founded Juan-Yun Artist Studio. She now lives in Taipei and works as an artist. Her works have been showcased in Korea, Japan, China, the United States, France, Italy, etc. Yeh’s artistic inspiration originates from her continuous perception of life. She reads and interprets herself, other people, nature, and the infinite time while conducting a dance with art through delineating its infinite possibilities.
Yeh Fang has held solo exhibitions at art museums such as the Tainan Art Museum and the Museum of Contemporary Art Taipei. Her works have been collected by institutions including Art Bank Taiwan, and are also favored by private galleries and collectors. She has received the AFA Art Alliance Design Award in the United States and the Design Award from the Toyama Prefectural Museum of Art and Design in Japan.
